HEALTH
The Research Unit “Health” conducts research in the field of empirical health economics, with a focus on the resilience of healthcare structures. Research focuses on the areas of aging and health, the development of the healthcare system, and population health. A primary objective is the identification of causal effects of policy measures and life events on individual health and cognitive abilities. Furthermore, the Research Unit is part of the Leibniz Lab “Pandemic Preparedness” and the EU-MSCA doctoral network “HEPARD”.
