Johannes Hollenbach has been working as a researcher in the Health Economics department since April 2021. Prior to joining RWI, he studied Economics (MSc in 2021) as well as International Economics and Development (BA in 2018) at the University of Bayreuth and has spent a semester abroad at Ajou University in Suwon, Korea. During his MSc studies, he worked as a student research assistant for the Chair of Development Economics as well as the Chair of Institutional Economics at the University of Bayreuth.
His research interests are in applied microeconometrics and policy analysis with applications in health and education economics, particularly aging, mental health, and gene-environment interactions.
