Joint Project ARIADNE2: Evidence-Based Assessment for the Design of the German Energy Transition on its Way to Climate Neutrality - Sub-Project RWI
Focus of ARIADNE is to provide decision-makers with an improved scientific basis for the German energy transition through evidence based assessment.
Main topic of ARIADNE is a target-oriented learning process between research, politics and society, with the aim of developing options for the implementation of the German energy transition and subsequently evaluating and shaping them.
In this joint project, RWI is developing a conceptual framework that make ethical implications of alternative options of action possible. In addition a panel representative to the German residential population is being built up, which records the energy consumption and the energy costs of private households, which allows the evaluation of the instruments of the housing and heating sector with regard to social acceptance as well as environmental and distributional effects.
