Viola Helmers joined the RWI department "Environment and Resources" in September 2020 as research assistant and PhD candidate, and joined the Ruhr Graduate School for Economics (RGS) in October 2020. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Resource Management from BTU Cottbus-Senftenberg, a Master’s degree in Agricultural and Food Economics from Bonn University, and a Master’s degree in Management, Economics, and Consumer Studies from Wageningen University and Research (WUR) in the Netherlands.
Research:
Her main fields of interest are environmental and transport economics, as well as applied microeconometrics.
