Project

Social Effects of Environmental Policies

The social effects of environmental policies (e.g. distributional effects) are rarely discussed in the political and societal debate. The aim of the project is a comprehensive discussion of these effects. First, we summarize the status quo of research regarding social effect of environmental policies by a comprehensive literature review. Further, a knowledge database on data sets for Germany is build. Based on these two basic analyses we observe research and data gaps and develop innovative research strategies for filling some gaps. Where applicable, particular research strategies are implemented.
