Project

Social-Ecological Panel - Continuation and Further Development

The main focus of this 4-year-project is to determine the preferences of the population with regard to the energy transition on the basis of annual panel surveys with 4,000 to 8,000 participants in the forsa.omninet panel.

Among other things, the panel surveys are intended to take into account that these preferences may change intertemporally during the transition to a sustainable, carbon-neutral economic and social system. On this background, this project builds on the earlier panel surveys of the "Social Sustainability Barometer of the Energy Transition (Sozialer Nachhaltigskeitsbarometer der Energiewende), in part to be able to re-survey previously interviewed panellists.

The results of this sustainability barometer are based on previous three surveys conducted in 2017, 2018 and 2019 in cooperation with IASS and forsa.
