Boris Blagov studied Economics in Magdeburg and Bonn. In 2015 he
finished his PhD at the Hamburg Graduate School of Economics on „Four
essays in Markov-switching DSGE and Markov-switching VAR models“. Blagov
worked as a freelancer for the Infas Institute, was Visiting Researcher at the Estonian
Central Bank, Research Assistant at Hamburg University and Lecturer at
Leuphana University Lüneburg. Since 2016 Blagov is Researcher at the
Research Division “Macroeconomics and Public Finance” of the RWI.
