Wachstumsbooster Arbeitsmarkt
Wie zusätzliche Arbeitskräfte die Wirtschaft ankurbeln können
The German economy is at a turning point. The reform dividend of Agenda 2010 has been used up. The structural weakness of growth is now evident. Demographic developments are a particular burden, which could dramatically exacerbate the already noticeable labor shortage in the coming years. At the same time, there is already a considerable amount of untapped labor potential in Germany that needs to be leveraged. The study “Growth Booster Labor Market” by the RWI on behalf of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom shows the enormous opportunities for better activation of this untapped labor potential. In particular, it also highlights the positive effects on government revenue and expenditure as well as on economic output.
