Erstellung der Anwendungsbilanzen 2023 für den Sektor der Privaten Haushalte und den Verkehrssektor in Deutschland
Endbericht - Juni 2024
Forschungsprojekt im Auftrag der Arbeitsgemeinschaft Energiebilanzen e.V.
According to the Working Group on Energy Balances (AGEB), the private household sector accounts for around 28% of annual final energy consumption in Germany. A further 30% of final energy is consumed by the transport sector. Households use energy in particular to generate space heating and hot water, but also to light their homes, for cooking and to operate electrical appliances. In the transport sector, energy sources are used almost exclusively to generate mechanical energy, which is used to power vehicles. The aim of this study is to differentiate the energy consumption of private households and the transport sector by application for the year 2023. This study continues the project funded by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Climate Protection (BMWK) and carried out on behalf of the Working Group on Energy Balances (Arbeitsgemeinschaft Energiebilanzen e.V.) to prepare the application balances of private households and the transport sector for the years 2021 to 2023. In terms of methodology, it follows on from the application balances already drawn up for the years 2013 to 2020. This ensures that the results of this study are comparable with the previous series of application balances.
