Education in the Ruhr Area 2024: Higher Education
An efficient an equitable education system is of central importance for the future of the Ruhr area. Thus, RuhrFutur and the Regionalverband Ruhr (RVR) are working together with local researchers and municipalities to produce the “Bildungsbericht Ruhr”, which provides a critical analysis of the challenges and successes of the education system in the region. The report places particular emphasis on changes over time, regional comparative perspectives and inter-municipal networks and builds on the previous education reports from 2012 and 2020. The RWI contributes the higher education chapter to the report.
