Study on „Cooperation between Science and Industry: Mechanisms and Obstacles to Knowledge and Technolgy Transfer“
The transfer of knowledge from science to industry is one of the central sources of innovation. Against this background, the study critically examines the state of the literature on knowledge transfer in the context of 'science-business' cooperation. Central topics are: the theoretical foundation of the research field, forms of cooperation, expectations of the actors involved, problems and obstacles in knowledge transfer, political measures to promote knowledge transfer and their effectiveness, the transfer of experience from abroad and existing research gaps.
