Sven Hansteen joined RWI's Environment and Resources competence area in May 2022 as a research assistant and PhD candidate. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in Economics at the University of Cologne and subsequently completed his Master's degree in Economic Policy Consulting (M.Sc.) at the Ruhr University Bochum. During his studies, he worked as an intern as well as a student assistant in the research group "Prosocial Behavior" and wrote his master thesis in the competence area "Environment and Resources".
His research focuses on the areas of behavioral economics, experimental economics as well as environmental, resource and energy economics.
