Study on work 4.0 in Hesse and the consequences and effects of digitisation
In this study, we investigate the effects of digitization on the Working
World 4.0, i.e. new forms of work and work relationships resulting from
Industry 4.0, for Hesse. The study is divided into four parts. The
first part summarizes the relevant scientific literature for the German
labor market. The second part shows which industries and occupations are
predominant in Hesse and which digitization consequences can
consequently be expected for the Hessian labour market. The third part
contains case studies for three economic sectors that are of particular
importance for Hesse. The fourth part derives economic policy
recommendations.
