Labour Market Transitions in Turbulent Times

The study examines trends in job tenure as well as corresponding trends in job separation transitions, and how job tenure and these transitions have been affected by the financial and economic downturn in the EU-27 countries. A specific focus of the study lies on identifying similarities and differences between countries, but also between sectors, occupations and demographic groups as a reaction to the crisis. In order to do so, data from the European Union Labour Force Survey (EU-LFS) are used.
