Lukas Hörnig has been a scientist at RWI's Research Data Centre Ruhr since October 2019, where he has worked as a scientific assistant since 2017. Before joining the RWI, he studied economics at the University of Mannheim and Universidad Carlos III in Madrid (B.Sc.) as well as at the University of Duisburg-Essen (M.Sc.).
His research focuses on the intersection of applied microeconometrics and regional economics, particularly with respect to labor and housing markets.
Lukas Hörnig supports scientists in GIS applications, among others data visualization in maps and spatial referencing.
