Press releases, guest articles, background discussions, publications, events - the "Communications" department informs policymakers, the media and the public on- and offline through various communication channels about RWI's research findings and their implications for economic policy. The team works in two areas:

The "Policy and Communication" area supports in particular the management level in policy advice and communication. In addition to communicating research results and their (economic) policy implications, the division is responsible in particular for guest articles in national print media and the policy advisory publication series RWI Positionen and RWI Impact Notes .

The "Press and Public Relations" division designs press and public relations activities and is responsible for the website, event organization, the design and production of publications and information materials, and graphics. The spectrum ranges from standard graphics for publications to reports and posters to photos. In the graphics area, the division has offered training as a media designer for many years.
