One research focus is the investigation of the reform of transfer systems. On the one hand, transfers have a valuable insurance and distribution function, but on the other hand they distort the decisions of economic agents, such as their search behavior on the labor market. For the optimal design of transfer systems, it is necessary to quantify the reactions of economic agents to changes in the parameters of the transfer system.
