Neighbourhood effects: Analysis of individual rational behaviour in a social context
The aim of the project is to geo-reference existing micro-level data
sets, e.g. the SOEP or the LIAB, and to enrich them with information at a
highly disaggregate regional level, e.g. at the county or zip code
level. This allows for econometric analyses of the social context on
individual behavior such as unemployment benefit recipiency, exit from
unemployment, or the social integration of migrants.
