Colin Vance is the Deputy Director of the Environment and Resources Division of RWI. He concurrently serves as a Professor of Quantitative Methods with Jacobs University Bremen.
Colin was previously employed with the US Environmental Protection Agency and later with the German Aerospace Centre’s Institute of Transport Studies, where he served on several projects funded by the European Commission.
He received a BA degree in International Relations from Boston University in 1993 and a Ph. D. in Economics from Clark University in 2000. His general fields of research are energy and transportation policy, economic development, and global environmental change.
