Nach Corona: Jetzt stabile Krankenhausstrukturen schaffen
Even before the Corona crisis, the economic situation of German hospitals had deteriorated continuously. The current pandemic situation is further exacerbating their difficulties. In order to ensure that the well-being of patients remains the main goal while at the same time a high level of efficiency, a nationwide coverage and a robust care in the event of a crisis are guaranteed, the course must now be set correctly. This “RWI Position” outlines seven measures how to achieve this. Main focus has to be on a stronger centralization of hospital structures supported by new care models, a simplified legal regulatory framework and a greater focus on digitization and transparency.
