Die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung im Inland: Materialengpässe verzögern die wirtschaftliche Erholung

The German economy continued to recover from the economic consequences of the Corona pandemic. In the wake of the rollback of infection control measures since May, domestic demand increased significantly. At the same time, there are still considerable burdens on economic recovery. For example, the Corona pandemic has still not been averted worldwide. This is preventing economic life from returning to normal completely, as some infection control measures are being maintained. The biggest obstacle to economic recovery at present are supply bottlenecks for raw materials and intermediate products. Although various causes lead to the shortages of raw materials and intermediate products, most of them are likely to be temporary and will ease considerably by the end of the year.
