Niklas Benner has been working in the department “Macroeconomics and Public Finance” since September 2020 and has additionally been affiliated with the department “Labor Markets, Education, Population” since 2025. After completing his Master’s degree in Economics at Justus Liebig University Giessen, he joined the Ruhr Graduate School in Economics in October 2019. His research focuses on the economic analysis of text data using Natural Language Processing.
