In April 2020 Vivien Procher became
full professor at the research group “Entrepreneurship and Innovative
Business Models” at the University of Marburg. Since 2018, she has also
been a researcher at the department “Environment and Resources”
at RWI. She studied Economics, Government and International Management
at the LSE in London and HEC in Paris. In 2005 she became a scholarship
holder of the Ruhr Graduate School in Economics (RGS Econ) and completed
her doctorate at the Ruhr University Bochum in 2010. From 2010 to 2012
she was Managing Director of the RGS Econ and researcher at the former
department "Enterprise and Innovation” at RWI. Afterwards she became
Assistant Professor for Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Corporate
Change at Wuppertal University, where she was involved in developing and
managing the interdisciplinary Jackstädt Center of Entrepreneurship and
Innovation. She then joined as Associate Professor the Department for
Management, Technology and Strategy at the Grenoble École de Management
(GEM) in France, where she was the team leader of the research group
“Entrepreneurship & Innovation”.
Her research interests lie in
entrepreneurship (e.g., hybrid entrepreneurship and competitive
preferences of entrepreneurs), innovation management (e.g., R&D
activities of firms) and firm internationalization (e.g., investment and
divestment decisions).
