Against the background of strong immigration to Germany in recent years, the successful economic and social integration of immigrants is of great importance. As part of the project "Accompanying evaluation of labor market integration measures for refugees" for the Federal Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, the research group investigates this topic by evaluating policy measures and reforms in the field of integration in terms of their effectiveness. In addition, questions of educational integration are increasingly coming into focus, including the question of which factors can reduce existing educational disadvantages of children with a migration background.
