Profile

Sarah Frohnweiler has been working as a research assistant and doctoral candidate at RWI since 2020, initially in the department “Environment and Resources” and since 2021 in the department “Climate Change and Development”. Previously, she studied “International Economics and Development, B.A.” at the University of Bayreuth and “Development Economics, M.Sc.” at the Georg-August-University in Göttingen.


Sarah’s research interests lie within development economics in the areas of labour market, migration and health. She is currently part of a rigorous impact evaluation in Ghana commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) as part of the Special Initiative on Training and Employment.
