The Ruhr Economic Papers (REPs) are a series of scientific working papers that RWI jointly publishes with the economics faculties of the universities of Bochum, Dortmund and Duisburg-Essen. RGS Econ (RGS) is a co-editor.

The Ruhr Economic Papers serve to disseminate scientific research results. The ultimate goal is the publication of the papers in a peer-reviewed journal or an edited volume. The target audience is the international scientific community. The papers are generally published in English.
