Verbundvorhaben ARIADNE: Evidenzbasiertes Assessment für die Gestaltung der deutschen Energiewende

Teilvorhaben C0, Teil II: Eingehende Darstellung
Forschungsprojekt im Auftrag des Bundesministeriums für Bildung und Forschung
Förderkennzeichen 03SFK5C0

The aim of the ‘Joint project Ariadne: Evidence-based assessment for shaping the German energy transition’ (Ariadne for short) was to use an evidence-based assessment to provide decision-makers with an improved scientific basis for shaping the German energy transition. At the centre of the project was a targeted learning process between research, politics and society, in which options for the implementation of the German energy transition were to be developed and then evaluated and shaped. Among other things, a household panel was to be established for this purpose in order to create a basis for an evidence-based evaluation of climate policy instruments in the building/heating sector using econometric and experimental methods. In addition to analysing and developing measures and policy paths, the project should also integrate the system perspective with detailed sectoral knowledge and consider measures, long-term technology and policy options and governance together.
