Anerkennung ausländischer Berufsabschlüsse: Trends und Herausforderungen
The project described in this report, which was carried out on behalf of the Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, examines the recognition of foreign professional qualifications in Germany. The aim of the project is to make better use of the potential of skilled workers with foreign qualifications through improved recognition procedures, thereby promoting growth and closing personnel gaps. The first part of the report analyzes quantitative data on the current situation and development of recognition procedures. The second part is devoted to a qualitative analysis of options for action. On this basis, concrete measures for improving and accelerating the procedures for recognizing foreign professional qualifications are discussed.
