Projektion der Bautätigkeit und Analyse des Fachkräftebedarfs

In the coming years, the construction sector will be significantly shaped by the energy-efficient renovation of residential buildings, the digitalization of work processes, and demographic change. This study examines the impact of these developments on the construction industry. First, it analyzes the transformation of employment within the sector by assessing current changes in the demand for skilled labor—based on employment structures, qualifications, and job vacancy data. Next, it projects construction activity over the coming decade, using value added in the construction sector as the key metric. Based on this, the study derives the future trajectory of skilled labor demand by correlating projected employment trends with anticipated qualification requirements.
