Artificial Intelligence - for a Smart State in a Digitalized Society
The expert report for the commission of inquiry “Artificial Intelligence – Toward a Smart State in a Digitalized Society” provides an in-depth technical analysis of the AI ecosystem in North Rhine-Westphalia (NRW). This includes an analysis of the current situation (stakeholders, types of use), future scenarios through 2030, an assessment of the value chain, and concepts for an energy-efficient AI infrastructure to support recommendations for action. The report addresses key challenges such as economic competitiveness and resource consumption by leveraging the existing foundation in NRW and links these to analyses of productivity potential in the state’s key industries.
