RWI RESEARCH EXCHANGE

The "RWI Research Exchange" is a scientific exchange program of RWI to promote international networking. The program is designed to promote scientific exchange between RWI researchers and international research institutes in the field of economics. It supports both international research stays by RWI scientists and research stays at RWI by visiting scientists from abroad. It thus complements the RWI Research Network of researchers from around the world. The exchange is intended to provide a platform for developing and strengthening joint research activities. Visiting scholars are also invited to participate in research seminars, mini-lectures and policy dialogues. In addition to scientific exchange, the program is designed to promote cultural exchange.

For the period 2018 to 2023, the exchange program was supported by the Transatlantic Program of the Federal Republic of Germany with funds from the European Recovery Fund (ERP) of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action (BMWK), and focused on exchanges with a focus on North American research institutions.
