RWI-GEO-CARMKT
The Research Data Center Ruhr (FDZ Ruhr) provides the RWI-GEO-CARMKT, a dataset on car advertisements in Germany that is available for scientific use. The data are based on information obtained from the online marketplace AutoScout24.
The dataset covers a wide variety of vehicle listings and includes detailed information on manufacturers, models, fuel types, and other characteristics. Thanks to its regional granularity and comprehensive attribute structure, the dataset is particularly suitable for analyzing market trends, price formation, and consumer preferences in the automotive sector. The dataset is available exclusively for scientific research purposes. It is provided as a Scientific Use File (SUF) and comes with a comprehensive data report describing the structure, limitations, and key features of the material.
