In recent years, more people have come to Germany than ever before since the Federal Republic was founded. These include refugees, especially from Ukraine and Syria, as well as people from other EU countries. In our research, we examine the question of which structures and political framework conditions need to be created to ensure the rapid and sustainable integration of immigrants into the labor market, the education system and society. In addition, we investigate the effects of such migration movements on the population in the host countries.
