Fachkräfte für die ökologische Transformation – Bedarfe, Engpässe und Lösungsansätze
The project examines the development of green employment in Germany with a particular focus on family businesses. Based on various data sources, it analyses how the greenness of employment has changed, which occupational groups and skills are particularly in demand, in which areas there is a potential shortage of skilled labour, and how firms react to the green transition. In addition, the situation on the apprenticeship and higher education market is examined. The results are used to derive recommendations for policymakers that could facilitate the ecological transformation for companies.
