Christiaan de Swardt is a researcher and doctoral candidate in the Population and Development research group, starting from the 1st of October 2024. Christiaan completed a Bachelor's Degree from Stellenbosch University in South Africa, majoring in Economics, History, and Political Science, with an Honour's Degree in Economics (BCom Hons Economics). Christiaan further studied Economics (MCom Economics) at Stellenbosch University and Development Economics (MSc Development Economics) from the University of Göttingen in Germany.
