Projektion der Wirtschaftsentwicklung bis 2024: Potenzialwachstum wenig dynamisch
Potential output growth in Germany slows down in the medium term. The primary contributor to this deceleration is the demographic development in Germany. We expect potential output to increase by 1.2% per year on average. However, growth rates are decreasing over time. With respect to the medium-term projection, we expect the output gap to be roughly closed in 2020. Economic activity will then increase similarly to the expansion of potential output.
