The Ruhr area as a destination for foreign direct investment
It is the aim of the project, on the one hand, to identify the location factors that promote or inhibit FDI inflow to the Ruhr area. On the other hand, the role of FDI in the light of structural change and the general development of the region is assessed. Policy recommendations are formulated and the results are discussed with the public. Specific target groups will be addressed, for example in the context of an event with secondary school pupils.
