MACROECONOMICS IN DEVELOPING COUNTRIES
The unit conducts research in macroeconomics and public finance in developing countries. In cooperation with local universities, models are developed and implemented to quantify the effects of tax reforms. In addition, forecasting models are developed, e.g., for nowcasting, to improve economic forecasts in ministries.
