ECONOMIC FORECAST AND JOINT ECONOMIC FORECAST
The analysis and forecasting of short-term macroeconomic developments is an important part of the work carried out by this competence area. The economic analyses are reflected in four RWI economic reports published annually, participation in the joint economic forecast, and three NRW economic reports. Forecasting is carried out in close cooperation with the scientific community, ensuring that the forecasts are always methodologically up to date. The forecasting tools are continuously refined and contribute to research published in specialist journals.
