FINANCES AND CONTROLLING
In addition to its core areas, the "Finance and Controlling" department's tasks include procurement, accounting for business trips, and house and asset management. It uses modern controlling instruments to manage the allocation of financial resources. To this end, it prepares budgets and budget plans, assists with costing and monitors third-party funded projects. The main tasks of the accounting department are bookkeeping, invoicing and the settlement of third-party funded projects.
The department has a strong focus on optimizing administrative processes. The overall goal is to continue the quality improvements and to optimize the organizational structures and processes in order to further increase the institute's performance.
