Verbesserung der Datengrundlagen zur Festlegung der Mietenstufen im Wohngeld
The rent levels in the housing allowance (Wohngeld) make it possible to adjust the amount of the rent or encumbrance allowance to the regional housing market situation. The rent levels are determined on the basis of the rents of housing benefit recipients, which are essentially characterized by existing rents. In tight housing markets, however, there is often a divergence between rents for new contracts and rents for existing properties. The study is to develop recommendations and model calculations for improving the data basis for determining rent levels and, in the process, also discuss practicable approaches for including supply/new-contract rents to a greater extent.
