Mathias Sinning has been working as the assistant of the Executive Board of RWI Essen since May 2004. He studied Economics at the University of Heidelberg, his main subjects were econometrics, social policy, development policy and international economic policy. In addition to his job as assistant of the Executive Board, Mathias Sinning is currently working on his Ph.D. dissertation in the research field of "Migration, Integration and Education".

Research interests: Applied micro-econometrics with focus on international migration, education, and labor market policy
